That\u2019s because most of us are looking for ways to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/open-box-productivity\/\">be more productive<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve tried and tested almost every productivity app out there. What the testing process has helped me realize is that it\u2019s really about self-management and self-improvement more than it is about managing productivity.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Why don\u2019t productivity apps help?<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>If you have been relying on apps to help with your productivity, and you are still not where you want to be, the answer is not in the app. It is most likely in the process of discovering some things about yourself through your own efforts for self-improvement and self-management. No app is better than YOU to manage yourself!<\/p>\n<p>Developing habits, patterns and practices that are conducive to your own personal form of productivity is really where results come from.<\/p>\n<h2><b>Self-management for productivity<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Self-management for productivity is about managing your natural rhythms, thought patterns, and behaviors in the most effective and efficient way so you can make the most of your natural talents, skills, abilities, and inclinations.<\/p>\n<p>In order to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/kiss-my-app\/\">increase your productivity<\/a> with effective self-management, you have to know some things about yourself and how you work best, such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 When your most productive times of day are.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 What environment you work best in.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 Whether you work best alone, with others, or some combination of the two.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 How you bring yourself to getting things done.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 How you take action.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 How you treat yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each person is an individual with individual characteristics and needs. Finding your internal groove for productivity is about discovering what makes you unique, and what situations are most conducive to you feeling confident and capable in your life, and your job, work, or career.<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind that doing work you love is the best productivity program out there.
