Here are some ways to infuse your resume with a little something special and unique to you\u2026 and remember, money talks!<\/p>\n<div class=\"igaudio\">\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-2683-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/personal-touch.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/personal-touch.mp3\">https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/personal-touch.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Resumes and interviews form the foundation of any effective job search strategy.<\/h2>\n<p>In many cases, they are the only means the interviewer has of getting to know you.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, it is an opportune time to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/tell-me-a-story\/\">present yourself as a perfect person for the job<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>One place where many people neglect to maximize this opportunity on resumes is in previous job descriptions.<\/h2>\n<p>Since the resume is the first impression the interviewer gets of you, it is fitting to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/guess-what-i-did\/\">include accounts of significant positive actions you have taken<\/a> in previous jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Interviewers assess what can be expected of you in their company based on specific actions you have taken in prior positions.<\/p>\n<h2>Past behavior is a great indicator of future behavior.<\/h2>\n<p>For this reason, your resume is the perfect place to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/behavioral-job-interviews\/\">include specific examples of effective strategies you have implemented in previous jobs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to skills, tasks, and responsibilities, my recommendation is that you also include a summary for each prior position.<\/p>\n<p>In this summary, include something you are proud of accomplishing for the company during the term of your employment.<\/p>\n<p>This could be:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"checkMarkList\">\n<li>an important goal you achieved for the company<\/li>\n<li>an operational improvement<\/li>\n<li>or anything that moved the needle forward<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>In most companies, money talks!<\/h2>\n<p>In fact, in most companies, money talks louder than anything.<\/p>\n<p>So, if there are instances in the past where you have increased company revenue in some way, you should absolutely indicate that in the summary.<\/p>\n<p>Any positive monetary action should go here.
