Here\u2019s what that approach entails and how it can save you some time and frustration.<\/p>\n<div class=\"igaudio\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\">\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-3992-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/AllThePieces.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/AllThePieces.mp3\">https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/AllThePieces.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<\/div>\n<h2>If you\u2019re wondering how to find a dream career, you\u2019re in the right place.<\/h2>\n<p>Helping people create jobs and careers they love is what I do!<\/p>\n<p>One thing many people don\u2019t quite understand when it comes to finding work they truly love is that the (seemingly) obvious answer is rarely the RIGHT answer.<\/p>\n<p>This is a hard pill to swallow\u2026 especially when you\u2019re toiling away in a <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/transform-the-job-you-have-into-a-job-you-love\/\">job you hate<\/a> and you just want OUT\u2026 and fast!<\/p>\n<p>However, I encourage you to open your mind to a different approach.<\/p>\n<p>Because chances are, if you pick the thing that seems to be <em>obviously<\/em> right for you, you will likely find yourself in the same unsatisfied state a few months down the road.<\/p>\n<p>Why is this?<\/p>\n<h2>It\u2019s because YOU are not simple.<\/h2>\n<p>You are a complex, multifaceted individual, with a nuanced set of <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/your-values-are-showing\/\">values, needs, likes and dislikes<\/a>, talents, skills and experience, among other things.<\/p>\n<p>And surprisingly, most of us are not terribly well acquainted with ourselves when it comes to putting all these pieces together into a coherent package that allows us to see the bigger picture of the work we were meant to do.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine all these facets of you are like pieces of a puzzle that you lost the box top for. So you have no idea what the final picture is.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>How likely is it that you will guess just by looking at a pile of pieces?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>Just like putting together a puzzle, discovering the work you were truly meant to do takes an investment of time and effort BEFORE you can discover the whole picture.<\/h2>\n<p>But it\u2019s time well spent!<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the only way you can get really clear about the job description that\u2019s a tailored fit for YOU in <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/one-true-you\/\">all your uniqueness<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I encourage anyone who is interested in finding work they love to suspend all inquiries about what the final solution will be (like whether you\u2019ll be starting a new business and what you\u2019ll call it, or starting a position with an established company, etc.).<\/p>\n<h2>Leave all that alone while you gather information about all the things that complete the picture of your ideal work environment.<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What are your work values?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What times do you like to work?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Do you like working in a group or alone?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Do you like being at a desk or somewhere else when you work?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What types of things have you enjoyed doing in other jobs?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What things have you NOT enjoyed doing in other jobs?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What are you naturally good at?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These are just a few of the \u201cpuzzle pieces\u201d that will allow your big picture to begin to emerge.
