Listen in and glean some insight into how you can better understand what it is you are looking for.<\/p>\n<div class=\"igaudio\" style=\"margin-bottom: 30px;\">\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-4029-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/TheMagicSauce.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/TheMagicSauce.mp3\">https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/TheMagicSauce.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Career wisdom often takes time to develop.<\/h2>\n<p>We have to go through a period of trial and error to come to an understanding of what it is we really want out of our career.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, most of us have been conditioned to take the advice of those around us, sometimes giving it more consideration than we give our own perspective.<\/p>\n<p>The problem with making decisions based on the opinions of others is that others\u2019 perspectives are based on <em>their own<\/em> life experiences and choices.<\/p>\n<p>Other people do not have <em>your<\/em> skill set, <em>your<\/em> life experience, <em>your<\/em> values or <em>your<\/em> desires.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, they are not qualified to decide for you.<\/p>\n<p>Putting too much stock in the perspectives of others can lead to situations where we are simply not happy because we are not <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/your-values-are-showing\/\">living by our own set of values<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Coming into alignment with yourself is the opposite of being in burnout.<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s what happens when you finally decide to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/trust-muscle\/\">make decisions based on what is right for you<\/a>, and not what other people think.<\/p>\n<p>So how do you know when you have come into alignment with yourself? (I call it finding your own internal groove).<\/p>\n<p>You know it when you aren\u2019t concerned that someone close to you (or maybe even not so close to you) thinks your choices are weird.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>You start to develop a \u201cfelt sense\u201d of harmony with your true self.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is not easy to define, but it is easy to know when you feel it.<\/p>\n<h2>Once you know what it feels like to act from your own convictions and values, you can begin to use that feeling as a compass for all your decisions.<\/h2>\n<p>You no longer have to fight to do what you\u2019re \u201csupposed\u201d to do.<\/p>\n<p>This feeling becomes the magic sauce that frees up more energy for you to enjoy doing the things that bring you real fulfillment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is your work situation uncertain or frustrating you?<\/strong> Are you without a job or wisely thinking a current furlough may be just the hidden gift to start exploring work you\u2019re truly meant to do?
