I\u2019ve dealt with death, illness, and other difficulties, large and small.<\/p>\n<p>I have also coached numerous clients through such challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Through it all, I have come to understand how to trust the process on deeper and deeper levels.<\/p>\n<p>I have found personal strengths I didn\u2019t know I had, and I have helped clients do the same.<\/p>\n<p>Today I have a stocked toolbox of empowerment strategies that work for myself and my clients when life throws a curveball.<\/p>\n<h2>One of the most useful <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/your-inner-empowerment-coach\/\">empowerment strategies<\/a> for dealing with the aftermath of seeming tragedy (including death and other challenges), is something I refer to as <i>hidden gifts<\/i>.<\/h2>\n<p>Believe it or not, even the most horrible life experiences have gifts hidden within them.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s essential to note that hidden gifts do not always reveal themselves right away.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes it takes a year or more for the gift of a situation to appear. This is where trusting the process comes in.<\/p>\n<h2>The next time you find yourself dealing with something difficult in life, I invite you to ask yourself some deep questions, like:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What is the bigger dream that can only come true because this \u201cbad thing\u201d has happened?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What is the universe seemingly nudging me to do?<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">What skills have I been saving in my toolbox for just this occasion?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sometimes the answers to the deep questions come quickly. Sometimes they don\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>In cases where the hidden gift is not obvious in the early stages, my best advice is to trust that it is there.<\/p>\n<p>Keep your mind and heart open for its revelation in the weeks and months ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Having an attitude of trust in the process will help you develop a strong sense of gratitude and appreciation, no matter what life throws in your direction.<\/p>\n<p>It will also provide a wonderful inner support structure for navigating the pain and anguish that often accompanies life\u2019s biggest challenges.<\/p>\n<p>And don\u2019t forget to acknowledge (with gratitude, of course) when the hidden gift does appear.<\/p>\n<p>This will help you to see hidden gifts more readily in the future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is your work situation frustrating you?
