Are you able to be true to yourself and still bring home a paycheck? If your answer to these questions is no, I would like you to know it is possible to do both.<\/p>\n<div class=\"igaudio\">\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-4506-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/WhatsOnTheBackburner.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/WhatsOnTheBackburner.mp3\">https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/media\/MML\/WhatsOnTheBackburner.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<\/div>\n<h2>If you think you have to be poor in order to be true to yourself in your job or career, I would like to invite you to reconsider.<\/h2>\n<p>The best career advice I have to offer my clients is to find a way to do the things they love and get paid for it.<\/p>\n<p>I know it is possible to <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/build-foundation\/\">create your dream job<\/a> not only because I have done it for myself, but because I have helped hundreds of people do the same.<\/p>\n<p>One of my biggest soap boxes is the one about not giving up the things that bring you joy and satisfaction in order to pay your bills.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We don\u2019t have to choose between our truth and our livelihood when it comes to our career.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>So many people set aside their truth in order to support themselves and their families.<\/h2>\n<p>But this does not have to be the case. You can use your best skills and talents in your work.<\/p>\n<p>You can do work that resonates with your <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/your-values-are-showing\/\">personal values<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can have a career you are passionate about that allows you to do the things you love doing. And you don\u2019t have to sacrifice money to do it.<\/p>\n<p>You are doing yourself and the world a disservice by assuming there is no way to do what you love and still make a living.<\/p>\n<h2>So, what is it you are missing in your career?<\/h2>\n<p>What would you like to feel like at the end of your workday?<\/p>\n<p>Many of the clients I work with feel they are not expressing their creativity as much as they would like.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s important to clarify that creativity is not just about painting, sculpting, or some other artistic endeavor. Problem solving, brainstorming, and coming up with new solutions are all forms of <a href=\"https:\/\/internalgroove.com\/2023dev\/creative-solutions-personal-strengths-and-natural-gifts\/\">creative expression<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You really can design a career based on your truth, that lights you up, takes advantage of your best personal skills, and still allows you to support yourself and your family.<\/p>\n<p>It may not be the easy route, but it is the route that brings the most fulfillment and satisfaction, so the challenges are worth the effort.<\/p>\n<p>This is what I help people do.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is your work situation frustrating you?
