Are you ready to grow to the “next level” (whatever that may be for you)? Find out how you can tell if it’s time to go there…
The main goal of any type of career planning or career transition is hopefully to lead you to the work you are meant to do.
How do you know if you are actually ready to begin a career transition?
This could be a tricky question simply because we sometimes don’t know what it is we really want. Coaching can help with that if you need help discovering it.
One sure way to know if you should start taking some steps to discover the work you were meant to do is if you are feeling unfulfilled in your current job or career.
We all know deep inside what is right for us. In your heart and soul, you actually know when you want to go to the next level.
If you are not feeling hungry to make a career transition or go to the next level, then maybe you are already doing work you were meant to do. Of course, that is completely fine.
Career planning only needs to involve a change if you are feeling unsatisfied with where you are now.
If you are feeling a pull for something more, that’s the sign that it is time for a career transition or change.
You have a little voice in your head that is telling you to seek and find the work you are meant to do.
This is an opportunity to trust yourself and the universe. The fact that you are feeling a desire to make a change is the only indicator you need that it is time to make a change.
If you are feeling restless, but are not sure what it is you want, simply ask yourself what you want, and sit with the question.
What do you really want?
Sometimes the answer doesn’t come right away. But if you really sit with it, you will often find that things bubble up. The trick is to listen to what’s bubbling up from your heart rather than using your brain to force an answer.
