Are you money-wise? Use the tips in this audio clip to empower yourself with money wisdom so you can build the life and career of your dreams.
Guiding clients to a place of self-empowerment is an integral part of my coaching strategy.
Addressing a client’s money mindset can facilitate positive change on multiple levels.
Practicing money wisdom is a path to self-empowerment.
I became a certified money breakthrough coach when I realized these truths.
Are you giving away your power with money?
If you want to empower yourself with money wisdom, the first step is to notice where you are giving away your power with money.
Here are some examples of how people give away their power with money:
- Not charging what their products and services are worth.
- Not billing people who owe them for their products or services.
- Not asking for repayment of the money they loaned to someone.
- Not asking for a raise when they know they deserve it.
- Taking a job offer without counter-offering.
I’d like to say a little more about that last bullet point:
NEVER settle for the first offer you get when someone offers you a job. ALWAYS make a counteroffer. I don’t care what the economy looks like!
Why?
Every employer knows an employee who values themself is a good negotiator and will always counteroffer. Even if you’re asking for more vacation time or something else, it shows that you value yourself enough to ask for more.
Use money wisdom to empower yourself!
Are you ready to get money-wise? Notice all the areas you are giving away your power and start taking it back!
Here are some ways you can take back your power with money, even though money may not seem to be part of the equation:
- Use your voice to ask for what you need from others.
- Take the initiative to have difficult conversations.
- Follow through on other’s requests of you.
Time is money, and energy is money. Vibrant health in all areas of one’s being (physical, mental, and emotional) facilitates one’s ability to make money.
Anytime you sell yourself short in any way, you give away your power, and that will inevitably impact your bank account.
