Embrace Change and Expect a Positive Outcome

It can be challenging to embrace change when it doesn’t seem like positive change. Here’s a reminder to expect a positive outcome, even when things aren’t looking great at the present moment.

No matter what is happening in your life, my advice is to

ALWAYS embrace change and hold space for the possibility that some positive outcome can result.

This is true in life in general as well as on your career path.

Something I am well known among my clients for saying is that there is no such thing as bad news in your career.

Every circumstance holds hidden gifts.

I’m not just trying to put lipstick on a pig! I have seen this principle of hidden gifts prove itself in multiple scenarios in my own life.

And I have seen it play out time and time again in the lives and careers of my clients. It even includes things that seem devastatingly challenging and difficult.

Not just losing a job unexpectedly, but even things like illness and losing loved ones can reveal hidden gifts somewhere down the line.

So if you are sitting with news that feels like bad news in your career or your life, start by trusting that there is going to be a positive outcome.

There ARE hidden gifts there. I promise!

Simply being open and committed to finding the hidden gifts within a challenging circumstance will shift your perspective on the situation.

Sometimes the gift will reveal itself immediately.

Other times it may be just beyond your vision.

And sometimes it may not appear for a longer period of time.

But it is always there.

And you will always find it when you are willing to embrace change and be open to the possibility of a positive outcome.
