As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to fall into the trap of the comparison game, comparing yourself to others in your industry.
I firmly believe that, no matter who you are or what you do, you will always get the clients that are right for you.
So, drop the comparison and trust yourself!
Self trust is recognizing that what you offer is unique.
No matter how many people do what you do, none of them do it the same way you do.
And your ideal clients will be attracted to you because of this fact.
Each of us will attract clients who are right for us!
I learned this early on in my coaching career. After getting my credentials, I attended an event with a handful of other coaches. Each one of us had different styles and specialized areas. We came from various backgrounds and had different strengths, skills, and talents.
Each of us gave a presentation to the attendees. After the presentations, each coach sat at one of several big round tables in another room. The attendees were invited to sit at the table with the coach they resonated with to get more information about their work.
And guess what?
Every single coach had people sit at their table.
I realized then that there are clients for every coach, and there is a coach for every client.
When you play the comparison game and compare yourself to others rather than trusting that you have something valuable for those who resonate with you, you sell yourself short.
You also may miss out on potential clients attracted to who you authentically are.
A big part of self-trust is courageously standing in your truth even when you aren’t getting clients, knowing that your ideal clients will show up as you shine the light of your authentic self.
So if someone chooses not to buy your product or use your services, let them go. It’s okay.
It means there is another person or company who better fits their needs, and it makes room for someone who resonates with your work and your unique style to fill that space in your business.
You don’t have to scramble, fret, and “arm wrestle” so someone else doesn’t get “your clients.”
You can freely let them go and trust that they belong with someone else who is a better fit for them.
Clients that are naturally attracted to you are YOUR ideal clients.
They will be the ones you enjoy working with the most anyway.
