The Self Confidence Formula for Real Power

Self confidence is something we all strive for. In this audio clip, I’ll illuminate a formula for real power when it comes to building your self confidence from the inside.

Self confidence is a fundamental factor in effective self-management.

The kind of self confidence I am referring to is internally derived self confidence.

This is a formula for real power.

Because self-empowerment is the most authentic kind of empowerment!

Many people make the mistake of getting all their confidence from others.

Are you an approval seeker?

Do you need acknowledgement or validation from others in order to feel good about yourself?

If you recognize these tendencies in yourself, you are not alone.

It’s common in our culture for people to seek approval outside of themselves.

The problem with this type of confidence is that changing circumstances, other people’s opinions, or any number of factors outside of your control can deflate your sense of self and cause you to lose your mojo.

I consider this externally derived approval-based confidence a false sense of confidence.

This is the opposite of real self-confidence.

This is why the formula for real power is to build your confidence internally.

Internally derived self confidence is the kind of self confidence you can trust because it cannot be swayed or changed by circumstances outside of you. It’s unshakable.

So, how do you build internal self confidence?

If you are feeling a loss or diminishment of confidence, I encourage you to create some power statements based on the things you appreciate and enjoy about yourself.

What are your natural strengths and talents?

What are some accomplishments you are proud of?

What lights you up inside?

Once you have a really good list, use it to remind yourself (every hour if you need to) about what you know is true about you based on these self empowering statements.

When you build your confidence internally, nothing and no one can take it away from you!
